Each person or group responds differently to coaching; thus, there is no set expectation. Instead, there is a variety of emotions. I have been privileged to witness excitement to be making progress and relief to address issues set aside or stifled. I have also seen individuals display nervousness at the thought of showing vulnerability and frustration at setbacks. In every instance, I have been honored to witness the sense of fulfillment when a milestone or a goal is reached.

What I hope you NEVER feel is dread or stress when our meeting time rolls around. Sometimes, clients cannot complete their homework before a follow-up meeting and feel embarrassed, discouraged, or even ashamed. My role as your coach is not to judge. It is to be a support and to guide you toward the removal of obstacles. You are safe during our time together and encouraged to be vulnerable without fear of judgment. The most important thing is that you are taking action! That is always the first step to change.
— LENGTH: Length of engagement will be determined on the format of the group sessions. Group sessions will vary in length from 4 hours total to multiple 4-hour sessions.

— COMMUNICATIONS: Ideally, all group sessions will be in person.* If content allows, we will offer online and webinar format as well. Whether online or in person, it is imperative that you create a quiet space of no distractions or interruptions. *Please Note: We will follow CDC recommended guidelines.

— PAYMENT: Once an agreement is made, your credit card will be billed prior to the beginning of the workshop.

— SESSION NOTES: It will be your responsibility to take session notes.

Additionally, I will check in with you one time in between sessions, via e-mail. You are welcome to share news, updates, or concerns and receive a 15-minute consultation in between our sessions as well.
— LENGTH: Length of engagement plus the length of each session. A minimum of three months is required with three sessions per month. Each session will be one hour in length with the final 10 minutes devoted to a recap plus an action item or items. I have found this to be the most beneficial model to allow for exploration and time to take action steps toward your goal.

— COMMUNICATIONS: We will choose a method of communication such as in-person, cellphone, video call, etc. Our first meeting will be consultation only to ensure we are a fit. There is no fee for the consultation. If it's possible for our first meeting to be in person, I recommend it. Otherwise, a video call is preferred. Please create a quiet space of no distractions or interruptions.

— PAYMENT: Once an agreement is made, your credit card will be billed at the first of each month until completion.

— THE PROCESS : While each session will be unique, there will be a few things that will be consistent.

— We will discuss what is currently your highest priority. I will ensure you don't deviate from that.
— We will end with set steps for you to take before our next session.
— In between those two points, we will explore, expand, and discuss.

So that I am able to see your facial expression, I prefer our sessions to take place via a video call. However, I understand that is not always possible and in that case, we will schedule a voice call. I advise you to create a distraction-free environment during our phone or video calls. A distraction-free environment will give you the full benefit of the session you have committed to and will allow us to work through each individual topic that is agreed upon at the onset of the session.
